Project: Next-generation bioprosthesis

Animation created for the Avalus Ultra™ bioprosthesis, a next-generation bovine pericardial valve designed for aortic valve replacement.

A key challenge for the Hybrid team was developing a truly photorealistic 3D representation of the valve, and then leveraging the capabilities of 3D animation to highlight its key innovations.

• A lower-profile design for easier implantation.
• A radiopaque coil for enhanced visibility in future valve-in-valve procedures.
• An industry-leading effective orifice area (EOA) to optimize blood flow.

Collaboration with the Avalus marketing team was essential to ensure the science story behind their most advanced aortic tissue valve was communicated with clarity and impact.
